![]() The Hien is a bit faster than the Qck, it has much less static friction but the dynamic glide is only slightly faster than the Qck. I also feel like the Talent wears out quickly, after a few weeks of use the glide became inconsistent and the rubber backing became very bumpy resulting in an unpleasant glide. The Puretrak Talent has a considerably smoother glide than the Qck+, it also has a lot more static friction which I personally dislike as it makes small mouse movements feel "sticky". If you want something slow you could try the Allsop Raindrop XL, I can't really think of any other slow control oriented pads. I've also found textured pads to be very consistent and long lasting (Goliathus Control, G-TF Speed, Artisan Hien). It's kind of strange, I've never really had any consistency issues with the qck but most other pads I've tried like the Puretrak and Goliathus Speed become quite inconsistent after a short amount of time. I was lead to believe that it would be something similar to the Puretrak Talent and Qck but I felt let down by it, at times the glide would be slower than my qck+. I wasn't a fan of the Zero as a Qck replacement, it felt a bit too rough and it didn't feel that great with my FK. Qck Heavy: Revert back to qck, but go for the thicker version So I was wondering which mouse pad I should get? I have been considering:Īrtisan Zero: Seems closest to the qck however it says that it is not compatible with the DA 3.5G (Not sure about the DA 2013)Īrtisan Hien: A bit faster glide than zero but better quality I like slow mouse pads with ACCURACY/CONTROL Love the Qck but wish for better quality/consistency When I play I lift up my mouse a lot and swipe with my arm a lot. I have tested the goliathus control which is alright but nothing amazing and the goliathus speed which I feel is inaccurate in drag shots. I enjoy the friction of slower cloth mousepads such as the qck. I am a low sensitivity player (Deathadder 2013 / 400 dpi / 500hz - my 360 is about 2 full swipes the width of my qck+ ) I mainly snipe in korean fps games or just play the games like bf3/l4d/kf/bl2 so I require a mouse pad that is consistent and has good control. The wiki is open for anyone with a ninety day old account.I have been using the Qck+ for years now, I love it but it is wearing out and I feel the inconsistencies.
